Happy Labor Day

Hi friends!
I know I promised part 2 of ‘Four things I RElearn every school year’, however, my internet is down. As much as I love you all, I am not typing it up on my phone. It is currently four handwritten pages in a notebook. 🙂
I will share this with you from my journal, written on day 2 of no internet:
I need you, Lord. I need you more than internet, more than facebook, more than blogs and socializing…..Remember when I said I would like to live in a house in the middle of nowhere with no internet and no tv? Ha, Ha! I guess I would like it after the withdrawal. You know me…..

  1. I can relate Kathleen. I had a similar conversation with God and myself recently. How is it I am so eager to check my online stuff, but have a hard time spending time with God? My heart yearns for simplicity and peace, and yet, I don't often plug into the source that offers that. Instead, I plug into a source that usually causes more drama! Ha ha! I pray you will enjoy your quiet house as your internet is down.
